UNC Rex is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon Ideal candidates should have experience in the robot-assisted treatment of thoracic surgical disease including benign and malignant disease of esophagus, foregut, lung, mediastinum, pleura, chest wall, trachea and diaphragm. Additionally, candidates will have experience in robot-assisted lobectomy and robot-assisted esophagectomy. Advanced endoscopic procedures and first rib resection or pectus repair a plus. Candidates will be board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery. We employ a multidisciplinary thoracic team approach and offer the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care available outside an academic medical center.
