About The Position

You arrive on shift ready to keep production humming. You review open work orders in Maintenance Connection, plan preventive checks, and jump in where you’re needed—perhaps a PLC fault on a former, a heater loop that isn’t holding temperature, or an extruder drive that needs tuning. You’ll move between electrical diagnostics and hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work to protect uptime and ensure a safe, clean workspace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of related maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
  • Fluency in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical/electrical blueprint reading; working knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability for both electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Knowledge of PLC and PC controls; experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Omron is preferred.
  • Personal tool set, used safely and effectively.
  • Team-first mindset with flexibility for overtime and off-shifts as needed.
  • Strengths in analysis, problem solving, project coordination, technical aptitude, customer service, interpersonal communication (verbal/written), teamwork, sound judgment, organization, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • a 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled electrical PMs across thermoforming assets to maintain system integrity and machine reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair production equipment—blenders, crystallizers, dryers, extruders, formers, trim presses, conveyors, and grinders.
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC motors and drives, PLC- and PC-based controls, heaters, thermocouples, heat controllers, and safety circuits.
  • Implement improvements and upgrades on new and existing equipment to boost performance.
  • Document, update, and close work orders promptly and accurately in Maintenance Connection.
  • Maintain orderly, hazard-free work areas; follow all company policies and safety procedures.
