About The Position

As a Thermoform Tooling Technician, you support the thermoforming operation by maintaining, repairing, and preparing molds and trim tools. This role is a strong fit if you enjoy hands‑on mechanical work and want to grow your skills within a technical manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with the Tooling Supervisor and Leads to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for production

Requirements

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Possesses basic mechanical ability and comfort using hand tools.
  • Communicates clearly and follows written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to use basic measuring tools such as gauges or micrometers.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Comfortable working around oils, grease, and common shop materials.
  • Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic maintenance, cleaning, and repair of molds and trim tools.
  • Installs and removes molds and tooling for production needs.
  • Operates forming and trimming equipment safely and correctly.
  • Troubleshoots simple equipment or tooling issues and reports concerns promptly.
  • Completes required documentation and follows inspection procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assists team members with repair tasks and general shop duties.
  • Follows all company safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
