Requirements

Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
Good interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate therapy schedules with a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist
Escort students to/from computers for virtual sessions
Help students log in and stay focused during sessions
Manage behavior and attention as needed
Set up technology & troubleshoot basic tech issues
Communicate with teachers about scheduling
File IEP paperwork and organize speech folders
Coordinate Therapy Schedule with Virtual Speech Language Pathologist
Escort children to and from virtual session to computers to help with logins and manage behavior and attention for session
Setting up technology and trouble shooting
Facilitate communication with teachers regarding scheduling
Clerical duties of filing IEP Paperwork in Cumulative Files and Speech work folders.
