About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides therapy, support, and training to children and families in the foster care system. This therapist position is responsible for providing therapy to children and adolescents in foster homes/schools/ community settings, assessing clients, developing individualized treatment plans, consulting with and training foster parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs, and providing on-call telephone support for the program’s foster homes on a rotating basis. Devereux provides laptop, iphone, and travel reimbursement. Position Details: Pay Range: Salary $51,000 - $62,700/annually (based on relevant education, Licensure, and experience) Schedule: Full time; Typically Monday-Friday; this position covers Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, and Pinellas counties. Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology field required
  • 2+ years experience working with children or families in need of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related required
  • Valid FL State Issued Driver's license
  • Must be able to attend a 3 day orientation (Monday-Wednesday from 9am-5pm)
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen and TB Test.
