About The Position

The Therapist - Iowa Grief, Loss, and Trauma will provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered therapeutic individual, group, and family therapy to meet the therapeutic needs of survivors of homicide and other violent crimes and individuals experiencing crisis in the communities served. This position will participate in the 24-hour crisis on-call rotation (covering Scott, Clinton, Muscatine, Jackson, and Cedar Counties in Iowa). This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Supervisor – Other Violence Crimes. This position requires a flexible schedule that may include working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Any relevant experience; open.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and vehicle with appropriate auto insurance required.
  • Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.
