Overview PURPOSE STATEMENT: Perform supervised individual, group and family therapy, supervision, crisis intervention, and consultation/outreach. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plans with goals that are measurable, attainable and ensure success based upon patient’s clinical assessments and face-to-face interviews. Assist with regular patient reviews and analysis of patient’s progress or setbacks and make adjustment recommendations to support successful transitions. Complete clinical documentation under the guidance of a licensed clinician. Advanced students may have the opportunity to work with patients doing assessments, crisis interventions and create/run their own groups. Minimum time commitment is as required by the Intern/student to fulfill educational requirements. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Working towards a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related counseling field from an accredited Master’s program. Currently eligible for supervision leading to LCSW, LPC or LCPC. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state in which the facility operates.
