About The Position

Provide psychotherapy to individuals and families experiencing mental health symptoms and addiction in clinic, home and school settings. You will be working in conjunction with, and under the clinical supervision of, a Kentucky licensed psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family therapist, or Professional Counselor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide direct service/therapy via group, individual, family, and psycho-education to individuals and families experiencing mental health symptoms and addiction. Complete intake/screening/assessment process. Develop treatment plans for clients, and complete all required documentation, including OTRs and other paperwork associated with service authorization. Handle crisis situations as they arise. Complete all required documentation by LifeSkills standards and timelines. Document all services provided in accordance with agency standards. Maintain agency expectation for productivity. Participate in clinical staffing/treatment team meetings providing feedback on all pertinent cases. Maintain positive, professional relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers, adhering to Code of Ethics and agency policies. Have knowledge of and follow the LifeSkills’ Core Values. Maintain an expert knowledge base regarding current practices and research Utilize referral sources and receive referrals as appropriate. Be a team member on agency and local committees as needed/assigned. Fulfill agency and/or board requirements (including but not limited to exams, education, and supervision). Attend weekly supervision with a clinical supervisor. On call, as needed, for ACSU mobile/walk-in services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family, or psychology and pursuit of a licensure or certification under a professional board.
  • Flexible work schedule (to include evenings and weekends).
