Therapist I, Mobile Crisis - Traumatic Event Response Team
About The Position
As a full-time Mobile Crisis Therapist with the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a crucial role in providing in-person, immediate responses to children and adolescents following traumatic events within the communities of Hampton and Newport News. You will conduct brief assessments at the site of incidents for both individuals and community partners. Your expertise will guide you in making timely referrals to clinical services, ensuring that necessary support is arranged efficiently. This position requires flexibility, as you will respond to crises after hours and on weekends, directly impacting the lives of those in distress. Requirements
- Master's Degree in a human services-related field.
- One (1) year of clinical experience with Children, Adolescents, and Adults.
- Strong assessment and intervention abilities
- Proficiency in utilizing software and tools necessary for documentation and referral processes
