About The Position
The Therapist works collaboratively with other clinical staff under the supervision of the Clinical Program Director to provide comprehensive treatment to individuals with problem sexual behaviors. This position facilitates group treatment, provides individualized services as needed and collaborates with supervising officers and other treatment providers. The ideal candidate has the ability to establish respectful relationships with clients while maintaining strong professional boundaries, is recovery oriented and trauma informed in their approach and believes that all clients have the ability to change and lead productive and healthy lives. This position is exempt and works under the supervision of the Program Director. On-call responsibilities may be assigned for clinical consultation.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work field
- Eligible for Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LPC-A, AMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- 2 years of related experience
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license
- Regular and predictable attendance are required
