January Center - Program Manager 2 (Uncasville)
About The Position
The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily programmatic operations including program development, supervision, staff training quality assurance and program evaluation. This position works closely with the program's clinical supervisor and agency leadership to ensure the implementation of effective programming and continuity of treatment services and has on-call responsibilities. The ideal applicant will poses a clinical master's degree, have demonstrated leadership experience working with justice involved individuals and have an understanding of restorative justice services and related best practice standards.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proven experience in program operations and staff supervision
- Knowledge of Connecticut’s DOC/CSSD service system
- Experience working with individuals impacted by the criminal justice system
- A Clinical Master's Degree with 5 years related experience including: 3 years in a Program Management/Supervisory position is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years related experience including: 3 years in a Program Management/Supervisory position may be considered
- Valid Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position
Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and supervise the operations of the January Center Program
- Implement and oversee systems and processes to enhance service effectiveness and contract compliance
- Build and maintain productive relationships with state agencies, and community partners
- Oversee staff performance, training, and professional development
- Provide on-call support and leadership coverage as needed
