About The Position

Acceptable alternative locations are: Austin and San Antonio The Therapeutic Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Therapeutic Treatment Services in their assigned geography and serve as the foster care and adoption program Treatment Director for youth who receive Mental & Behavioral Health support services, Human Trafficking Victim/Survivor support services, and Treatment Foster Family Care support services for their area. Additionally, the Therapeutic Clinical Supervisor ensures compliance with all applicable licensure, state regulatory and contract requirements as well as and Medicaid standards and serves as a liaison between Arrow and community-based network providers in their service areas. Requirements

  • Master's degree in a Health or Human Services field required and be currently licensed as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT.
  • Have 2 years of experience working with children in the child welfare or mental health industry and 1 year of progressive supervisory and administrative experience or demonstration of increased job responsibilities is also required.

Nice To Haves

  • Case management and experience working with victims of complex trauma is preferred.
  • Supervision licensure, such as LPCS, LCSWS or LMFTS is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • May maintain a manageable caseload to ensure outcomes and practice requirements are met while taking into consideration the level of care of clients served.
  • Monitor the quality of services provided to clients by directing service delivery system and record keeping requirements according to policy, regulatory and billing standards.
  • Assist in reviewing initial service plan and all updates for youth receiving Mental & Behavioral Health support services, Human Trafficking Victim/Survivor support services, and Treatment Foster Family Care support services to ensure clients are receiving all appropriate therapeutic interventions that support their permanency and success in the least restrictive environment possible.
  • Ensure sound trauma-informed evidence-based clinical practices are used to provide treatment focused on clinical outcomes identified by both the CANS 3.0 and service plans are being provided to clients.
  • Support the referral, screening and intake processes in accordance state and contracting standards.
  • Provide consultation, instruction and direction to other staff, referral agencies, foster family, biological family, respite providers, medical providers, educators, other caregivers, probation officers, state case workers, and other individuals as indicated by the client's plan of care.
  • Attend staff meetings, seminars, and professional conferences.
  • May provide additional training to foster caregivers, staff, network providers or other stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and support for crisis intervention as needed to prevent escalation of high-risk behavior, relapse, hospitalization, placement disruption, and other negative outcomes and serves on a supervisory on-call rotation during after-hours.
  • Provide oversight of treatment planning in collaboration with case management, supervisory staff and foster parents, to ensure the development of a customized treatment plan that outlines care for the child's individual mental health needs.
  • Act as agency liaison in the communication of agency mission, values and strategic direction to create a positive image of the agency in all arenas.
  • Monitor documentation in client records to ensure accuracy and timeliness to meet regulatory, licensure and contractual standards including, treatment plans, session notes, contact notes, assessments, discharge and billing submissions.
  • Assist in the creation and provides support in the implementation of strategic plan related to program performance in assigned region.
  • Review client files and conducts quarterly audits to monitor accuracy and completeness of documentation, service plan implementation, progress towards desired outcomes, and future appropriateness of service plan.
  • Maintain and promote a culture of quality though strategic goals, reviewing service delivery regarding outcomes and customer satisfaction, and staff recognition throughout various regional locations.
  • Complete requirements of BHEC and/or licensure regulatory boards to maintain a license in good standing meeting renewal timeframes.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
