About The Position

PBS Utah is seeking a motivated and technically curious person to operate studio cameras, perform as a floor/stage manager, hang and point lighting instruments, and set-up and strike studio sets. The candidate should have a solid understanding of television production techniques such as good framing and composition, and have the ability to remain calm under pressure during live television productions. Requirements

• A minimum 1 year of experience in studio production or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate a studio camera for live and pre-recorded productions
• Stage manage
• Operate the studio lighting consoles
• Help setup and strike studio sets
• Assist with maintenance and cleaning of the studios and prop rooms
• Communicate and work effectively with other team members
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional studio environment
• Follow all OSHA guidelines for ladder, lift and chemical safety
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Studio Production Manager
