About The Position

Assist in the production and operation of the Academic Theatre Department production and event season.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience.
• To be considered for this position we will require an application and resume.
• Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor and related to the production of a theatrical production or event.
• Under the direction of the supervisor perform basic carpentry, electrical, sewing, sculpting, decorative painting, metal work, and rigging.
• Maintain records and equipment/supply inventories as assigned.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and technical equipment used in the theater set design or production.
• Assist with set design and stage scenery development by working from blueprints, diagrams, plans, or drawings.
• Assist with setup for theatre open houses and special events.
• Maintain a clean work area/set.
• Ensure safety regulations and guidelines are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.
