The Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel, a legendary property since 1928, is located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, offering designer shopping, fine dining, and scenic views. The hotel is seeking a BLVD Bartender who is passionate about excellence and enthusiastic. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape the employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service. The BLVD Bartender is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of spirits and mixed drinks, as well as methods of preparation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Previous experience of 1 year required.
  • High analytical and organizational skills.
  • Speaking, writing and reading English is required.
  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a luxury, fast paced environment.
  • TIPS Certification.
  • ServSafe RBS Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
  • Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
  • Utilize the hotel’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
  • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks.
  • Service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks.
