Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel is seeking a Bartender who is passionate about excellence and brings enthusiasm to their work. This position plays a role in shaping the employee experience by providing outstanding knowledge and service to support the hotel's world-renowned reputation. The BLVD Bartender is specifically responsible for meeting guest needs by demonstrating exceptional knowledge of spirits and mixed drinks, as well as their preparation methods.

Requirements

  • Work authorization for the location is required.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Previous experience of 1 year required.
  • High analytical and organizational skills.
  • Speaking, writing and reading English is required.
  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a luxury, fast paced environment.
  • TIPS Certification
  • ServSafe RBS Certification

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
  • Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
  • Utilize the hotel’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
  • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks.
  • Service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks.
