To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements: Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29. Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date. Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.

Requirements

  • BS in engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an Advanced degree with 3+ years; or an Associate's with 7+ years; or 9+ years of relevant experience with be considered in lieu of degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of the TF33 engine a must; familiarity with TF33 hardware, maintenance, and operations are required.
  • Travel Requirements: 20-30% to Turkey, Greece, Italy and U.S.A
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who do not possess US citizenship
  • Must be able to gain a NATO Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Able to search Comprehensive Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) to verify maintenance activities are properly captured.
  • Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised.
  • Represent P&W answering complex maintenance issues with NATO customer.
  • Thorough understanding of engine operating systems and aircraft interface.

Responsibilities

  • Be trained to act as primary technical interface between Pratt & Whitney and NATO TF33 customers and Depot organizations.
  • Be able to provide complete & timely responses to customer technical questions and track in appropriate systems.
  • Research technical issues and correct source data to resolve systems level issues, coordinate with program management and customers to implement solutions to improve engine safety and readiness.
  • Support coordination and participate in company teams sent out to customer locations for special inspections, data collection, evaluation of designs, etc.
  • Coordinate and present technical issues in support of customer meetings and conferences.
  • Assist with multiple projects focused on minimizing the rate of Unscheduled Engine Removals and improving the efficiency of depot maintenance to increase engine supportability.
