About The Position

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management delivers industry-leading investment management and private banking solutions. The team conducts User Acceptance Testing for applications used by Asset & Wealth Management Operations globally. The team is involved in all stages of Testing from Requirement Gathering, Test Planning/Design, test Execution, Defect Logging/Retesting & Final Product delivery. As the Testing Automation Vice President within Asset & Wealth Management Operations, you will develop automated QA practices for applications. The role is based in Columbus, US that has global ownership for delivering innovative automation solutions in response to increasing business demand and the ever-changing tech environment. The candidate must be a talented, hands-on technologist with a good understanding of emerging technologies, varied experience across a diverse technology stack, with a good grasp of software design & engineering concepts as well as strong leadership skills. An analytical mindset, creativity and commercial focus is core to the skills needed

Requirements

• Practical experience in Test Automation using JAVA, Selenium, BDD Cucumber API testing and Database Knowledge.
• Expertise in BDD / TDD – Behavior Driven Development/ Test Driven Development
• Continuous Integration model development and build tools : IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins/Jules, Maven, BitBucket/Git
• Understanding applications with Web services based implementation – REST and SOAP based
• Relational Databases hands on experience (Oracle, SQL, Hexadata )
• Automation framework development using core Java
• Experience in Test management Tools
• Knowledge on Agile practices
• Cloud Services/Technologies - AWS/Azure/Google services/Kubernetes/ ZooKeeper/ Docker

Nice To Haves

• 15+ years of experience in Automation and Manual testing
• Knowledge on one or more automation tools, SDLC and Agile
• Good project management and Stakeholder management
• Excellent negotiation skills & Decision making ability
• Strong problem solving and good analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release
• People management with 8 plus years experience
