Position Overview We are seeking a Testing Automation Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated acceptance‑testing platforms for satellite devices. This role integrates probe telemetry, CIQ validation, and persistence measurements into scalable automation systems that accelerate regression cycles and improve reliability across labs and global market environments. The engineer will develop the core automation infrastructure that enables efficient, repeatable testing of satellite‑cellular integration across diverse deployment conditions. The Testing Automation Platform Engineer will create test frameworks, simulators, and automated pipelines; implement data models and dashboards; automate CIQ checks and SLO evaluations; triage failures; and deliver scalable, reusable test packs for internal teams and external partners. This role requires deep technical expertise in test automation, software development, and satellite‑communications testing environments. Operating at the intersection of software engineering and satellite‑communications testing, this position demands strong automation‑development skills and an understanding of satellite‑cellular test requirements. Success will depend on building robust, scalable platforms that support global testing operations and drive consistent, high‑quality validation across all markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a closely related technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation development, software engineering, or platform engineering, with a strong focus on testing frameworks and automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience building automated testing platforms, test frameworks, simulators, or validation tools in telecommunications, satellite communications, or other complex technical environments
  • Proven track record working with test automation technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated validation workflows
  • Strong software development skills with proficiency in automation frameworks, scripting languages, and test development tools commonly used in satellite communications environments
  • Expertise in test automation platform design, including framework architecture, test execution engines, and result processing systems
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, pipeline development, and automated deployment processes for testing environments
  • Deep understanding of automated testing methodologies, test framework design patterns, and validation workflows for complex technical systems
  • Experience with telemetry integration, data collection systems, and performance measurement tools used in satellite and telecommunications testing
  • Proficiency in CIQ automation, compliance checking frameworks, and SLO validation processes
  • Strong skills in data modeling, dashboard development, and analytics platforms for test result visualization and performance monitoring
  • Experience with failure analysis, automated triage systems, and root cause identification in complex testing environments
  • Knowledge of performance metrics, KPI tracking, and reporting systems for test automation platforms

  • Experience in satellite communications testing, particularly with automated validation of satellite devices or satellite-cellular integration systems

  • Implement data models and dashboards to provide comprehensive visibility into test results, system performance metrics, and validation outcomes
