About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES Functional Testing: Perform electrical, mechanical, and system-level testing according to engineering procedures, test scripts, and work instructions. Test Equipment Operation: Safely operate meters, power supplies, load banks, diagnostic tools, and other testing equipment to validate system performance. Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and document electrical or mechanical issues; collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve discrepancies. Quality Verification: Verify proper installation, wiring integrity, torque values, labeling, and overall build compliance prior to testing. Documentation: Accurately complete test reports, inspection checklists, redlines, and electronic documentation systems. Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash protection, PPE requirements, and company policies at all times. Calibration Awareness: Ensure testing equipment is within calibration requirements prior to use and report any discrepancies. Process Adherence: Follow standardized testing procedures to maintain consistency, reliability, and repeatability of results. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve test processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality. Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and on-time project completion. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required Previous electrical testing, industrial manufacturing, or commissioning experience preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation Experience using multimeters, insulation testers, torque tools, and other electrical test equipment Basic knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting principles Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills Basic computer skills for documentation and test reporting systems Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures Ability to work independently and within a team environment PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive hand motions, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Exposure to noise, energized equipment, industrial machinery, and manufacturing conditions. Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as required by production schedules. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
