As a Software Tester for the SDA GMI program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ground operational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure our software meets the highest standards.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
  • Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect management
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Programming and Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
  • DevOps and Continuous Integration: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
  • Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in documenting test cases, test plans, and test results
  • Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans
  • Expertise in identifying and troubleshooting software issues
  • Collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in software testing and quality assurance
