Job Description Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Requires ability to read and write, understand engineering drawings, wiring schematics, test specification sheets and other similiar documents
• Must have basic knowledge of electrical measuring equipment
• High School Diploma / GED is Required

Responsibilities

• Performs routine assignments involving sequences of operations required for quality certification
• Carries out testing required by Quality Certification Procedures
• Performs certification tests following a specified required sequence
• Sets up and operates all test equipment
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job
