We operate in a fully air-conditioned facility, daytime shifts Monday-Thursday ("4/10" schedule) with overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. We are currently seeking a Technician I - Test. This is an entry-level technical role responsible for supporting basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic assemblies during test operations. This role works under close supervision and assists with NPIs and prototype builds as directed.

Requirements

  • We are an ITAR Controlled Facility; all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of electronics or technical coursework.
  • Ability to follow instructions and document results accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving interest and willingness to learn diagnostics.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to sit or stand at test stations for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for using diagnostic probes and connectors.
  • Visual acuity for monitoring displays and inspecting assemblies.
  • Lift and move test hardware up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to test or troubleshooting tasks in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Basic use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting test failures under guidance from senior technicians.
  • Support execution of functional and final tests while focusing on diagnostic learning.
  • Document anomalies and assist in root cause data collection.
  • Participate in prototype and NPI test activities as assigned.
  • Maintain organization and calibration of test tools and equipment.
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
