About The Position

The Test Specialist supports test planning, coordination, execution, and documentation activities conducted in laboratory or field environments. The role assists in developing test plans and procedures aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and program requirements. The Test Specialist conducts testing activities, analyzes test data, documents issues and resolutions, and supports improvements to testing procedures and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center / DoD Test and Evaluation support preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in test planning, coordination, execution, and documentation in laboratory or field environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to create test plans and test procedures in accordance with DoD policies and instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop test plans and procedures that trace to program requirements.
  • Experience conducting tests, demonstrations, and experiments requiring the selection, adaptation, setup, modification, and operation of a variety of test equipment.
  • Experience documenting problems, supporting problem resolution, and reporting progress on problem resolution to management.
  • Experience devising improvements to current procedures and developing models of possible future configurations.
  • Experience performing workflow analysis, analyzing test data, recommending quality improvements, and creating final test reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center / DoD Test and Evaluation support preferred.
  • Experience with Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) preferred.

  • Prepare final test reports.
