About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Test Engineer (TE) to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC), reporting to the Largo Test Engineering Manager. The Test Engineer will work on a range of products and programs and will be responsible for overseeing the Factory Acceptance Testing, managing Test Equipment and Test Assets, and troubleshooting and investigating hardware and software related failures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience and able to work with, troubleshoot complex Subsystems, working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.), RF, working within a team environment, developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders, and MS Office tool suite.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Responsibilities

  • Integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
  • Transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE).
  • Working as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity & efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
  • Oversight of test equipment used for production purposes.
