We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Test Engineer, supporting one of our premier programs in our Mission Solutions business unit. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards to developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO. What You Will Do In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure Develop automated test scripts and execute them Troubleshooting and debugging issues Work in an Agile program environment Active DoD TS to Start with Ability to Obtain Special Access

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with systems integration and test for a software product in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD TS is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin)
Experience working within a CI/CD environment
Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
Experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based platforms)
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with Java, C++, Python, Perl, Linux operating system, Cloud environments
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of resources (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
