Second Shift Weekend Friday - Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, designs, develops, and maintains test procedures, tester hardware, and software for production environments. Provides technical leadership for troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in test engineering or related technical role.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems, automated test equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in data analysis and root cause problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
  • Skilled in Windows-based PC operation and common software tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Design, validate, and maintain test processes, fixtures, and control systems to meet product and customer requirements.
  • Develop and release test documentation, including work instructions, debug guides, and preventive maintenance plans.
  • Analyze test data to identify yield issues, downtime drivers, and opportunities for improvement; implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting complex failures and coordinate root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with calibration, ESD, and safety standards during all test activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize test coverage, cycle time, and cost efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach technicians; provide training in new procedures and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Support to ensure test readiness and adherence to production schedules.
  • Participate in recruitment and development of technical staff as needed.
  • Generate reports and analysis of test data; prepare documentation and recommendations.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
