Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Test Cell Engineer provides Engineering support and direction for the testing of high-bypass turbofan engines, including the new Geared Turbofan (GTF). The test cell engineer is responsible for managing the acceptance testing of overhauled and Test-As-Received engines along with managing the maintenance and qualification of the test cell structure. The test cell engineer reviews test data and leads engine troubleshooting, and analyzes systems required to determine the cause of engine behavior. The test cell engineer also manages long term engine performance trends and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Test Cell Engineers also maintain process plans and work instructions for engine test preparation, test execution, and preparing the engine for shipment.
