About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Test Engineer to support our Space Systems Test (Environmental) Enterprise Capability in El Segundo, CA. The candidate will be a part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation team primarily supporting environmental and propulsion testing projects. This position will also support multiple sites. Position Responsibilities: Support the identification, development, and execution of projects related to Space Environmental Testing & Propulsion Testing Support Development of training curriculum & equipment under the direction of our Space Systems Test training leader Provide Project Management oversight on innovation and investment projects related to space systems testing (performance to plan, integration, delivery management, progress planning, communication) Provide program support as required for propulsion & space environments testing events

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
