Duties: Establishes standards for test documentation and technical reporting. Provides technical review of test directives, methods of test, data packages, letter reports, and technical reports. Present test strategy, objectives, and procedures to unit leaders at Safety Review Boards and Test Approval Boards. Provides technical management and accomplishes engineering duties related to the test and evaluation of major programs to include development tests, engineering evaluation tests, operational evaluation tests, and joint T&E programs on air-to-air/air-to-surface weapons. Develop test planning documentation for an emerging weapon program. Provides a range of technical and administrative support to the Flight Chief Represents the Squadron and AFTC at conferences and with other commands, HQ USAF, HQ USA, HQ USN, OSD, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), foreign nations, or industry on matters pertaining to the T&E of conventional weapons systems and their compatibility with various airborne, seaborne, or ground systems. Forecast test assets and range requirements. Integrate with program offices and prime contractors. Brief and debrief executing aircrew on mission execution and requirements. Act a Test Conductor during Test mission execution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience; Years of experience may be substituted for education requirement, per customer approval. Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs. Ability to communicate clearly to multiple stakeholders and resolve competing test resource requirements. Self-Motivated to learn new systems under test and be proactive to meet program requirements and take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, executing necessary tasks leading to the successful accomplishment of assigned duties. Must have a demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team. Must have strong communication skills and possess some technical writing skills.
