Test Engineer 1 (Onsite)
About The Position
Mission Systems Production Test Engineering is seeking to fill an Engineering I Electrical Engineering position with a talented individual who is working toward a BSEE, BSCmptrE or BSSwE degree. Test Engineering will offer you the opportunity to work with an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. Your work will serve internal customers, in supporting test stations deployed to our manufacturing teams and service centers. As a Test Engineering Electrical Engineer, you will utilize software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test stations. Typical test stations include components such as switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, power supplies and other RF or digital related equipment. This role is onsite, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role may be eligible for relocation.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Software skills in C++, C# are a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
