As a Test Cell Operator, you will be responsible for operating and testing gas turbine engines using specialized mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Your expertise ensures our reputation as a trusted leader in aviation repair and maintenance. Must be open to working a 1st, 2nd or Weekend shift

Requirements

  • 4 years aviation maintenance experience
  • 2 year previous test cell experience running military or commercial engines
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Exceptional time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with precision.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, manuals, and inspection procedures.
  • Apprenticeship, formal training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Powerplant Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and operational tests on military and commercial gas turbine engines.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace engine components to meet performance standards.
  • Accurately complete documentation to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to maintain high-quality output.
  • Follow aviation regulations and safety protocols at all times.
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine proper operating conditions
