Position Summary: We are seeking a Test & Integration Engineer for Liquid Cooling Systems to own execution, validation, and continuous improvement of our laboratory test system supporting performance validation for advanced liquid‑cooling products. This role leads testing, configuration, integration, unit commissioning and onsite system setup. This position will support data integrity and traceability and partner with NPD, R&D and Ops engineering teams to validate product performance, reliability, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 1–3 years of experience in a test lab, R&D environment, or fluid‑handling system setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on pumps, piping, fittings, valves, and fluid systems.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation such as pressure transducers, temperature sensors, flowmeters, and related DAQ equipment.
  • Understanding of basic thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with thermal or liquid‑cooling systems in data center, electronics cooling, or HVAC applications.
  • Experience with DAQ platforms (LabVIEW, PLC‑based systems, or similar).
  • Knowledge of glycol‑based coolants, fluid cleanliness, filtration, and conditioning.
  • Basic electrical safety knowledge related to control panels and instrumentation wiring.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving test requirements and shifting priorities.
  • Strong safety mindset and ownership of lab hygiene and organization.
  • Hands-on approach with a passion for workforce development.

Responsibilities

  • Define and support engineering quality deliverables across NPD and R&D programs through functional, performance, compliance, and commissioning testing of liquid‑cooling systems.
  • Set up, configure, operate, and monitor liquid‑cooling test loops, including pumps, heat‑exchange components, valves, sensors, filtration systems, fluid‑handling equipment, and environmental controls.
  • Execute and support test procedures by ensuring correct system configuration, instrumentation placement, flow control, safety controls, and environmental conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate system behavior during testing, including thermal performance, pressure stability, flow characteristics, leak detection, and overall system integrity.
  • Collect, validate, and record high‑quality test data using calibrated temperature, pressure, and flow instrumentation, ensuring precision, repeatability, and traceability.
  • Perform instrumentation verification and calibration checks, validate sensor accuracy, and maintain calibration and deviation records to support data integrity.
  • Prepare and manage coolant mixtures; perform system flushing, debubbling, filtration, contamination control, and routine maintenance of fluid systems and hardware.
  • Assemble, adjust, and reconfigure test fixtures, piping, brackets, and lab hardware; support installation of prototype and production components into test setups.
  • Create and maintain accurate test logs, configuration records, procedures, work instructions, and results summaries; clearly communicate anomalies, risks, and equipment issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, and Systems Engineering teams and external partners to support product validation, lab improvements, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
