About The Position

We are seeking a Hardware Integration and String Test Engineer to support radar system testing in a fast-paced lab environment. This role is critical to systems and software engineering teams; providing reliable hardware, networking, and lab infrastructure necessary to effectively execute development and testing activities. Salary Range: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $140,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates. Requirements

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced lab environment supporting development and testing, we will consider candidates with varying levels of experience.
Hands-on experience with hardware integration
Proficiency in server setup, networking (switches, cabling), and operating systems (Linux/Windows)
Experience with hardware configuration, inventory logistics, and customer interaction
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in government or defense contracting environments
Practical networking experience and/or certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+)
Familiarity with radar systems, power-up sequences, and system-level validation
Exposure to radar string testing and hardware-in-the-loop environments

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and maintain radar string test environments including: servers, network switches, and cabling (Cat5, RF), power systems, racking, and stacking of hardware
Install and configure operating systems (Windows and Linux)
Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to ensure systems accurately represent real radar configurations
Maintain lab operations including; inventory management, equipment shipments, and coordination with IT and engineering teams
Provide regular status updates to management on lab readiness, equipment availability, and operational issues
