About The Position

ROCKWOOL is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for San Diego, CA and Arizona, based in the greater San Diego, CA area. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Western Sales Team, focusing on increasing market share within the commercial building materials sector. As a critical link between ROCKWOOL and its customers, the manager will present stone wool solutions to address challenges and improve everyday lives. ROCKWOOL, founded in 1937 in Denmark, transforms volcanic rock into sustainable, innovative products. With over 12,000 employees across 51 manufacturing facilities in 40+ countries, the company's mission is to release the natural power of stone to enrich modern living. Requirements

  • 4+ years Building Materials/Construction sales a MUST
  • Understanding of the commercial construction process
  • High drive, commitment, energy and integrity
  • Strong presentation, training skills and effective time management
  • Professional communication – both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office and CRM

Nice To Haves

  • College degree, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing business and expand ROCKWOOL’s position as a major supplier of stone wool insulation to the entire building insulation sector in the territory.
  • Develop and nurture robust business relationships with customers and industry professionals including but not limited to insulation and building material distributors, retail/LBM locations, builders and contractors.
  • Maintain awareness of local competitive conditions in the assigned area.
  • Achieve established sales and profit goals while operating within the allocated expense budget.
