About The Position

Our Bumper to Bumper locations in the Louisville, KY area are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Regional Outside Sales Representative to support a 4‑store territory. This role is essential in building strong customer relationships, growing market share, and representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position involves regular sales calls to automotive repair facilities within the assigned territory. We’re looking for someone who excels at communication, can prospect new business, and is committed to maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

Requirements

  • Reliable personal transportation required.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to operate computer systems and online ordering platforms.
  • Interest in continuous education within the automotive industry.
  • Self‑motivated with a drive to capture and complete all sales opportunities.
  • Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.
  • Related sales experience and have a thorough knowledge of the auto parts business and sales approaches
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • No major violations
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
  • No more than one at-fault accident
  • Must be at Least 18 Years of Age
  • Pass Physical & Drug Screen
  • Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms
  • Interest in Automotive Car Care

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new commercial accounts and expand the existing customer base.
  • Pursue new line additions and manage product changeovers.
  • Present Auto Wares and Company Store Group programs, promotions, and training opportunities.
  • Increase sales through consistent, exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and grow wholesale market share for assigned stores.
  • Maintain regular communication with Store Managers, District Managers, Sales Managers, and store teams.
  • Provide MyPlaceForParts online ordering presentations, implementation, and stock list maintenance.
  • Support stores during peak PTO times and assist with assigned account calls.
  • Work closely with the delivery system to ensure top‑tier service.
  • Notify management of customer issues and help resolve concerns promptly.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and follow‑up with customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong customer‑focused mindset.
  • Serve as a professional representative of the company and set an example for others.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
  • Share competitive insights and best practices with management and peers.
