About The Position

Carson is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join our team! This position will oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the assigned Carson convenience stores and gas stations in Southern Oregon. With over 85 years of service in Oregon and Southwest Washington, Carson is a leader in the petroleum business offering diverse products and services including fuels, lubricants, transload, carwash, heating & cooling, retail and industrial solutions. Requirements

  • Convenience store and gas station experience in supervisory position
  • Organized and multi‐tasker.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the assigned convenience stores
  • Staff supervision to ensure employee duties are being fulfilled
  • Maintain superior customer service and friendly atmosphere
  • Employee staffing, training, and coaching
  • Work with HR on staff changes, new hires, separations
  • Oversee the manager and assistant managers responsibilities of:
  • Balancing of daily paperwork and process invoices
  • Order, stock, and balance daily lottery
  • Inventory management, stocking, and pricing
  • Balance and load ATM
  • Repair/maintenance calls for store and gas island
  • Assist with daily deli cooking
  • Vendor check‐in
  • Oversee staffing requirements
  • Service support for card readers, gas pumps, and other equipment
  • Partake in the overall optimization and innovation of store operation which include:
  • Operations and Managers meeting with upper and executive management
  • Pricing of the gas station to maximize foot traffic and overall company profitability goals
  • Interface with local communities to understand upcoming community event that drive marketing events to our stations and convenience stores
  • Store layout, marketing, branding, offerings
  • Be able to travel between sites as necessary
  • Maintain and build positive relations with vendors
  • Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Manage required employee breaks and cover breaks as needed
  • Cover duties when Manager/Assistant Manager are absent
  • Will be on on‐call to handle/assist in weekend and after hour issues
  • Customer and employee conflict resolution
  • Ensure employees are following company policies and procedures.
