Peraton is hiring a Terrestrial SIGINT Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Terrestrial SIGINT Systems Engineer, you will support a customer terrestrial sensors team in tracking, monitoring and facilitating planning for the deployment, upgrade, and replacement of Terrestrial SIGINT collection and processing systems. You will: Capture and document the requirements for the new and updated systems as well as coordinate and track the sensor projects from requirements, analysis of alternatives, sensor build-out, deployment, and installation, testing and transition to operations. Participate in numerous meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams, product reviews, and status meetings to monitor the systems engineering plans, development, and deployment of space and ground processing systems. Work closely with government Systems Engineers to support the re-engineering of the existing SIGINT ground architecture to facilitate the elimination of collection/processing stovepipes and replace the deprecated systems with collections/processing systems that support automation, dynamic tasking, multi-access cross-cueing and orchestration. Produce system engineering and technical documentation, develop master schedules, and support validation and verification activities. Provide exercise support as needed to assist in the development and testing of new capabilities. Serve as liaison to critical personnel in monitoring the state of project development milestones. #AJCM
