About The Position

Are you someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a Busser to join our Terrace Grille team, where you’ll play an essential role in creating a clean, welcoming, and efficient dining experience for our guests. In this role, you’ll support the front-of-house team by maintaining table cleanliness, resetting dining areas, and assisting with overall service flow. Requirements

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Ability to lift trays, bus tubs, and equipment as needed
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain smooth service flow
Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread, and supporting guest needs
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and service stations
Remove dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to dishwashing areas
Keep service areas stocked with necessary supplies (silverware, glassware, napkins, etc.)
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the dining space
Support the team to ensure guests receive prompt and attentive service
