About The Position

The Termite Specialist will provide termite control for residential homes and commercial establishments by identifying potential termite problems, conducting inspections; performing termite pre-treatments and termite post construction treatments while designing and implementing control strategies to resolve all of a customer’s termite control needs.

Requirements

Ability to identify common wood-destroying organisms (WDOs)
Understanding of termite treatment techniques and inspection protocols
Familiarity with building construction and structural vulnerabilities
Skilled in using pest control application tools and equipment
Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
Knowledge of applicable safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Basic math and record-keeping skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required)
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Must be able to work a standard 40-50 hour work week
Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform policy

Responsibilities

Arrive promptly to all scheduled appointments
Conduct detailed inspections for termite activity and conditions conducive to infestations and implement the most effective solution
Identify termite activity.
Safely operate and maintain equipment used to complete treatments.
Maintain knowledge and compliance of applicable laws, rules and regulations governing pesticide application.
Complete all required documentation and service records accurately and on time
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal staff
Educate clients about termite risks and preventive practices
Participate in routine maintenance of Company vehicle and equipment.
Adhere to all safety procedures as outlined in the company's Safety Manual
Operate company vehicle in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property, damage or loss of life.
Ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleanliness
Maintain a professional appearance and follow the company dress code at all times
Notify management immediately when questions or issues arise during fieldwork
