Position Summary Facilitates and manages trainings for dockworkers, drivers, and supervisors. Manages training, recruiting, and onboarding activities within a terminal.

Requirements

• 5+ years of transportation experience.
• Communication, training, and coaching skills.
• Flexibility to train on night shifts and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Safe motor vehicle report and hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Manages company-mandated trainings for dockworkers and drivers.
• Ensures trainings are facilitated in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Leads management training for leadership and communication skills.
• Ensures all Department of Transportation terminal requirements are current.
• Manages recruiting and new hire onboarding processes, including hiring, interviewing, introductions, setting expectations, and processing paperwork.
• Provides additional training, communication, feedback, and counseling as needed.
