Tenure-Track Faculty in Mechanical Engineering
About The Position
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a tenure-track faculty position in thermal-fluids science. We invite applications from outstanding candidates with expertise in all areas of thermal-fluids science including, but not limited to, renewable and sustainable energy, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing applications. The integration of artificial intelligence into research plans is a plus. The appointment begins in August 2024. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required
- Proven ability for high quality research
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation

Responsibilities
- Developing a vibrant funded research program
- Collaborating nationally and internationally and with faculty in our core strength area of thermal-fluids science
- Mentoring doctoral, masters, and undergraduate research students
- Teaching and developing thermal-fluids undergraduate and graduate courses
- Contributing to the modernization of the thermal-fluids curriculum
- Engaging in impactful service
