About The Position

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Engineering Management. By the time of appointment, candidates must hold a doctorate in engineering management, industrial engineering or closely related field. We seek dynamic, student-centered educators committed to excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across the engineering management disciplines. Preferred candidates will bring strong teaching experience, relevant professional accomplishments, and the academic background necessary to teach courses (or practicums) in areas such as Quality Engineering (e.g., Quality Control, Six Sigma), Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering Economy, and Business Management/Strategy. Essential responsibilities include delivering rigorous, engaging coursework aligned with departmental and institutional goals; teaching in multiple modalities; fostering inclusive learning environments with timely feedback; maintaining office hours and providing academic guidance; advising students at all levels; contributing service to the department, institute, and profession; and pursuing ongoing professional development.
