About The Position

The Bradley University Department of Psychology seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will teach a junior-level course in abnormal psychology, supervise community practicum placements, and teach other courses in their area of expertise (duties equivalent to a 3/3 course load). An active research program meaningfully engaging undergraduate students is expected. Mechanisms of research support from the university and department are available. Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology is required by the expected start date
  • Applications must include: a cover letter outlining qualifications for the position, a curriculum vita, a research statement, a teaching statement, evidence of teaching effectiveness, a statement that outlines how they will integrate principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into their duties, and two pre-prints of recent publications
  • Three letters of recommendation will be solicited from those who are invited to interview
