The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Social Psychology (doctorate required). The position will begin during August 2026. MSUB serves students from across the state and region, and our department is committed to offering course that allow both in-person and our online students to achieve timely graduation. The teaching load for assistant professors at MSUB is 21 credits per year, and faculty teach courses in a variety of modalities, including in-person, online, and blended. In addition to these teaching obligations, assistant professors at MSUB are expected to engage in service activities. Theses expectations are outlines in the collective bargaining agreement (available on the university website) and in department rank and tenure guidelines (available from the department chair).
