About The Position
The College of Science and Mathematics at Charleston Southern University is seeking applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Mathematics position, beginning in Fall 2025. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics. The successful applicant will carry a 24-credit hour teaching load per academic year and will be responsible for teaching both lower- and upper-level mathematics courses.

Responsibilities
- The typical teaching load is 24 credit hours per year (12 each major semester).
- Teaching duties will include both lower and upper level mathematics courses.
- Additonal duties will include advising; participating in scholarly activities; and university/community service.
- Participation in departmental meetings, trainings, and other tasks (as assigned by the chairperson) are also required.
