Requirements

  • Dynamic Instructor: Confident teaching both tennis and pickleball, tailoring instruction to individual skill levels and goals.
  • Guest-Focused Professional: Dedicated to delivering personalized and memorable guest experiences.
  • Collaborative Teammate: Works seamlessly with the Recreation and Spa teams to coordinate guest activities.
  • Dependable and Flexible: Available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
  • Ambassador of Fun: Brings passion and energy to every guest interaction, creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct private and group lessons for tennis and pickleball players of all ages and abilities.
  • Lead clinics, social mixers, and round-robin events to encourage participation and community.
  • Offer personalized feedback and coaching to help guests improve their skills and enjoyment.
  • Promote upcoming programs and engage with guests to increase interest in racquet sports.
  • Inspect and maintain tennis and pickleball courts to ensure cleanliness, safety, and playability.
  • Assist with setup and takedown of nets, balls, and equipment before and after sessions.
  • Report maintenance needs or supply shortages to Recreation leadership.
  • Support Recreation & Wellness programming by assisting with special events or tournaments.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing guest experiences through racquet sports offerings.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in both tennis and pickleball instruction.
  • Comply with all resort safety, legal, and operational standards.
  • Attend required meetings or trainings as scheduled.
  • Stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Regularly lift, bend, reach, and move up to 25 pounds.
