About The Position

Sandy Lane Hotel, an exclusive AAA Five Diamond resort and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to recruit a Tennis Attendant.
The Role
The Tennis Attendant will report to the Tennis Professional and will be responsible for the maintenance
of all Tennis & Padel facilities and equipment and providing all standard services to guests and courts daily.

Requirements

• A good secondary school education with CXC passes specifically in English and Mathematics
• Previous experience at a hotel, tennis facility Food and Beverage service or in a customer service role
• Certification in First Aid and CPR along with basic computer knowledge & skills
• Ability to work in the sun and to do heavy lifting and stand for 8 hours a day
• A positive and cheerful attitude as well as strong verbal communication skills
• A passion for meeting and greeting the customer’s and executing company’s objectives
• Commercial drive and awareness with the ability to identify potential sales opportunities
• Patience and the ability to listen and understand a customer's request
• The ability to solve minor challenges quickly and effectively
• The successful candidate must be in good physical condition to perform extensive walking, bending and stretching as well as lift to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets the guests and gives a complete introduction to the Tennis Center.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the tennis equipment and facilities.
• Takes tennis court and lesson bookings and assists the guests with the tennis equipment.
• General maintenance of all courts. (including using a leaf blower and power washer)
• Assists with tennis bookings, email requests and resolves guest challenges within the area.
• Prepares the tennis courts & services for all guest bookings.
• Assists in Tree house/Pool services from time to time as scheduled by department management.
