About The Position

Project Manage medium to large scale modular furniture installations, move activities, and other projects supporting the client in support of our account relationship; working closely with the Program Manager to coordinate these activities.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in an onsite vendor/client environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, and other Project Manager applicable apps
  • Establish and maintain high client relations
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the project life cycle
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with basic systems furniture nomenclature Allsteel and HMI
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to work under deadlines and specific time frames
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager or two to four years related experience and/or training in office moving and furniture planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overall scope of the project or move
  • Develop timelines for each project or move
  • Track timelines and document progress relative to established benchmarks and milestones
  • Maintain job costing for each project
  • Communicate move plans with client and all key stakeholders
  • Conduct customer pre-move meeting
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external client
  • Coordinate walk-throughs and hold planning calls to develop scope and communicate service requirements and client expectations
  • Open flexible schedules, willing to work non-standard working hours as needed
  • Conduct punch list walks to ensure quality standards are met
  • Performs work with quality, efficiency, and safety at all times
  • Participate in inventorying systems furniture (Allsteel/HMI) and Ability to read floor/install plans
  • Accurately estimate project and moves to determine manpower, vehicles and equipment
  • Oversee labor on site during reconfigures and moves.
  • SIMT/Corrigo management.
  • Support off-site campuses is required.
