About The Position

The Tenant Liaison role at Easter’s Home plays a key support role in fostering a safe, stable, and respectful housing community. As the on-site assistant to the Site Manager, the Tenant Liaison provides evening and weekend coverage, engages directly with tenants, helps coordinate site activities, and assists with general property support. While prior experience in housing or human services is helpful, it is not required. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sense of responsibility, a willingness to learn, and a desire to support others.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a consistent schedule
  • Reliable, dependable, and responsive to direction
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate respectfully and clearly
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive during moments of tension or challenge
  • Willingness to learn about supportive housing, trauma-informed care, and community engagement
  • Comfort using basic email and technology for communication and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in customer service, housing, or human services is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with HMIS or other client data systems a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Provide evening and weekend presence at Easter’s Home to support a calm and safe residential environment
  • Build positive relationships with residents through regular check-ins and informal engagement
  • Communicate community expectations, including rules and regulations , in alignment with program values
  • Assist with site activities, events, and volunteer-led programs as directed by the Site Manager
  • Respond to tenant concerns or conflicts and communicate needs to the Site Manager and/or Case Management team
  • Monitor common areas and building conditions; report maintenance issues or safety concerns
  • Help with light administrative tasks such as logging incidents, supporting communication, and tracking tenant concerns
  • Provide basic support for tenant needs such as lockouts or supplies (within program guidelines)
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain respectful, professional boundaries with residents
  • Attend regular check-ins and trainings as directed
  • Other duties as assigned
